Sometimes support is needed beyond the therapy space. Whether you’re in crisis, feeling unsafe, or looking for guidance and information, the resources below offer confidential support and advocacy. They are available to listen, help you explore your options, and connect you with care. You don’t have to navigate difficult moments alone.
The Hotline provides free, 24/7 confidential support, crisis intervention, safety planning, and resources for anyone affected by domestic or relationship abuse. You can connect by phone, online chat, or text with trained advocates who offer compassionate guidance, information on identifying abuse, and referrals to local services to help with safety and next steps.
Love is Respect provides 24/7, confidential support, education, and advocacy for teens and young adults (ages 13–26) navigating dating relationships. They offer text, chat, and phone support, along with resources on healthy relationships, boundaries, consent, and abuse prevention.
Call BlackLine is a 24/7 confidential crisis support hotline that provides peer listening, emotional support, and affirmation for people most impacted by systemic oppression, especially BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. It offers a space to talk through distress, report mistreatment or negative police/vigilante interactions, and connect with resources — all in a non-judgmental, anonymous way.
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a free, national 24/7 resource that anyone in the United States can call, text, or chat with trained crisis counselors for confidential emotional support during suicidal thoughts, mental health distress, or other crises. Conversations are judgment-free, supportive, and can help connect you with additional resources and local care.
Trans Lifeline is a trans-led nonprofit offering peer support and a crisis hotline for transgender, nonbinary, and gender-questioning people. Their confidential service connects callers with trained trans peers for emotional support, whether or not you’re in crisis, and fosters community care grounded in lived experience. The organization also provides resources and referrals to help people access affirming support and services.
SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, year-round information and referral service for individuals and families facing mental health challenges, substance use issues, or co-occurring disorders. Trained specialists can help connect you with local treatment facilities, support groups, community services, and information to support recovery and care.
