Amy Argubright is a counseling intern and graduate student currently pursuing her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. She brings a heart-centered, compassionate approach to her work, grounded in deep respect for each person’s unique life experiences and healing journey. As a cancer survivor, Amy understands firsthand how resilience can grow through adversity, and how healing is often shaped by courage, tenderness, and meaningful connection.

Amy comes to counseling with a background in holistic wellness, including yoga instruction, botanical self-care, and nature-based practices, as well as earlier work as an educator with a focus on social-emotional learning. These experiences shape her belief in caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and fuel her passion for connection, emotional wellness, and authentic relationship. A nature-loving, people-oriented counselor, Amy values presence, deep listening, and genuine human connection. She works primarily with clients navigating trauma, grief, and PTSD, and strives to create a counseling space that feels safe, grounded, and supportive. Amy feels humbled and honored to be part of Healing in Motion Therapy, where she is grateful to walk alongside clients with warmth, compassion, and care.
